The Small Print

1 – INFORMATION ABOUT US AND HOW TO CONTACT US

1.1 – Who we are. We are MST Cars Limited a company registered in Wales. Our company registration number is 12820712 and our registered office is at Muriau Carnguwch, Llithfaen, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, United Kingdom, LL53 6NH. Our registered VAT number is GB998663927.

1.2 – How to contact us. You can contact us by telephoning our customer service team on 01758 750 438 or by writing to us at sales@mst-cars.com.

1.3 – How we may contact you. If we have to contact you we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to us in your order.

1.4 – “Writing” includes emails. When we use the words “writing” or “written” in these terms, this includes emails.

2 – WARRANTY

2.1 – The terms and conditions of our vehicle warranty listed below must be adhered to. If you fail to do so your claim may be rejected or we may terminate your cover. This does not affect your statutory rights.

2.2 – Every new vehicle supplied by us in the UK carries a 12-month vehicle warranty, unless we agree to extend this period. This warranty commences on the original registration date of your vehicle. Any repair or work required will be carried out under the terms and conditions of the warranty, provided you can show the vehicle is still within the applicable warranty period.

2.3 – Your warranty may be invalidated if you continue to drive your vehicle when a fault becomes apparent. Any defects must be reported to us as quickly as possible. A minor defect corrected now could prevent you from being inconvenienced in the future.

2.4 – We reserve the right to reject any claim where the cause of the defect is due to non compliance with the service intervals recommended by us and or any recommendations for care and maintenance of the vehicle.

2.5 – If servicing has been carried out by someone other than us we reserve the right to reject any claim where the cause of the defect is due to inadequate servicing or the use of inadequate parts by the someone else.

2.6 – Your warranty does not cover faults which arise as a result of misuse, negligence, accidents or normal wear and tear. This includes, but is not limited to, any miss use such as over revving, over heating, excessive g-forces, excessive speeds which can be detected via data logging.

2.7 – Your warranty is void if:

(a) – The vehicle is involved in a collision;
(b) – Contaminated, dirty, inferior or the wrong fuel is used;

2.8 – Consumables such as, but not limited to, tyres, brake pads, clutch, oils and bulbs are not covered under this warranty.

2.9 – Your vehicle has been designed and built to extremely high standards. We cannot be held responsible for modifications to the vehicle which lead to defects, unless those modifications have been approved by us.

2.10 – This vehicle warranty does not extend to faults that arise as a result of the vehicle being used for racing, rallying, off road or similar competitive sports.

2.11 – Liability for death, bodily injury, or damage to property or any consequential loss, whether arising directly or indirectly from an incident affecting a part covered by this vehicle warranty, are not included. This shall not be construed so as to limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury resulting from manufacturing defects or from our negligence. The vehicle owner should ensure that adequate insurance cover for the loss or damage of personal belongings, property etc, has been made.

2.12 – Routine service adjustments which form part of normal maintenance schedules are not covered by this vehicle warranty.

2.13 – The paintwork warranty covers your vehicle against defects such as blistering, discolouration or staining of the visible surface of all painted body panels occurring as a result of faulty manufacture or workmanship for a period of 3 years from the date of first registration without any mileage limitation.

2.14 – All paintwork repaired under warranty must be carried out by a bodyshop approved by us.

2.15 – Although modern paints are durable and resistant to many external hazards, they cannot reasonably be expected to be totally resistant to all. You should therefore take particular care with your paintwork if you live in or near an area where industrial fallout is prevalent.

2.16 – Bird lime can have an extremely corrosive effect on your paintwork and should be removed as quickly as possible. Since damage caused by industrial fallout or bird lime is not a fault of manufacture, this cannot be claimed under warranty.

2.17 – The warranty does not cover corrosion caused by neglect, accident damage, stone chips or other external influences.

2.18 – The warranty does not apply to parts, panels or materials that have not been approved by and we reserve the right to refuse claims where defects have occurred as a result of using them.
